Sponge and Squirt --creating little homemakers

She got her make-up on, her cleaning bottle, and PINK sponge! (It is important to have a pink sponge ladies). The attire is important too: a DORA shirt with a princess pull-up. This attire is most effective because when you get down on your knees your pants won't get wet, just your knees (they get clean too)!

What is in the bottle?
Poison. Just kidding. Do you really think I am that mean of a Mommy?
Easy and safe recipe to do with your eager-to-clean toddlers:
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1-2 drops of essential oil (we use lavender oil)
After our cleaning time, we do like any woman/lady would do ---we enjoy some chocolate. And, that is just what we did!

I am attempting to train my children to help around the house, but it is a long, laborious, and often a wanna-pull-my-hair out process. One thing to remember is to not follow behind the children re-cleaning what they just cleaned. Helping at this stage in their life gives them a sense of shared responsibility. "I did it (smile)!" mentality!
