Monday Menu September 24th

What do we do with our cash fund for groceries empty? We pray for a stocked pantry and freezer! God is good and He is providing. My mom came to visit this weekend and brought lots of yummies and goodies! We are so blessed! Homegrown tomatoes, beets, green beans, onions and more! Plus, she brought some much needed other items for our pantry and freezer. AND...she made us a homemade blackberry/raspberry pie! The fruit is from their yard! Delicious!
I can't forget that my DH made YUMMO homemade bread this weekend too! I love his bread that he makes. It is so simple and so healthy. I will give you the recipe below (he uses about 2/3 whole wheat flour and 1/3 all purpose).
We are deliciously blessed this week! I will not need to do an ounce of shopping (we don't have any means to do so). Therefore, my menu this week is based off of what is left in my pantry, freezer, or the goodies that my Mama brought me! (Thank you Mimi)! God is good ---ALL the time!

Great plan you have for the week. I am also cooking from the pantry stock this week. The end of the month can be tough but it is fun to see how God provides. "God is good every day, all the time" as a friend of ours always says.

  5. Isn't God amazing! What a sweet mom you have!

You sound like you might be an FPU/Dave Ramsey girl!

The recipes for the Apple Pancakes and the No-Knead Bread sound awesome! I "no-need" bread, but I'm going to try both of them anyway!

    Thanks for sharing!
