Sophia's school has "theme days" twice a year. The first theme day was in the Fall and was Colonial Theme Day. In the Spring, they had Expedition and War Theme Day. Everyone dresses up in the period of the theme. So, we dressed like people would have dressed back in the Civil War time. They have different booths and things to do that are representative of the time. I helped with the Theme Day by doing the tin can lantern booth. It was a lot of fun and I love that her school does this each year. It is amazing.
