A day in the life of the Lil' Daisies home right now:
a fussy baby
a potty training toddler
a sick child
and very helpful oldest child
....we are having a "relax" day at home today.
I am mentally setting my mind up that it is "OKAY, that there is a kitchen full of dirty dishes, 5 loads of laundry taunting me, floors displaying food crumbs and stains, filthy bathrooms with ring around the tub & toilets, unmade beds with pee & spit up on the sheets, compost needing to be taken out for the fumes are setting off quite the aroma, toys scattered, dress-up clothes spewed around from previous play, books piling up ready to be read.....
...it seems that we are not going anywhere today and we are not getting too much done in the way of cleaning up....but, we are trying to spend sometime "recovering" from LIFE as it is in our home....Tis' the season

Right there with you. I think a bomb went off in our house. Need to pack, need to clean, sooooo hot outside. Oh yea, need to slave over a stove for dinner prep. Ugh!
